# Co-Create with Claude × Squeek

Squeek Studio (https://squeek.haawke.com) turns a short brief into an
original, one-of-one song — fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash, timestamped
on Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps, and recorded in the public Haawke registry.
This skill teaches Claude to be your co-writer before you press Generate.

## The workflow

1. **Talk it out with Claude first.** Who is the song for? What moment,
place, or inside joke should it hold? What should it feel like at
   second 10?
2. **Build the brief together** (see below), paste it into the Studio,
   and generate.
3. **Verify and share.** Every track ships with a provenance certificate
and a public registry entry — the song is provably yours and provably
   one of one.

## Writing a great brief

A strong Squeek brief has four parts. Keep the whole thing under ~120 words.

- **Genre + energy**: "dreamy synthpop, slow build", "front-porch banjo,
  warm and unhurried", "stadium goth-rock".
- **The person or moment**: one or two concrete, specific details beat ten
vague ones. "She reads tide charts before coffee" > "she loves the sea".
- **A phrase that must appear**: give the hook if you have one. Songs land
hardest when one line is unmistakably *about them*.
- **What to avoid**: names you don't want sung, topics to skip.

Ask Claude: *"Interview me for two minutes about the person this song is
for, then draft a Squeek brief from my answers."*

## Lyric collaboration prompts that work

- "Give me three different opening lines for this brief — one tender, one
  funny, one cinematic."
- "Rewrite this verse so it scans on a slow 6/8."
- "This chorus is too generic. Replace every abstract word with something
  physical you could photograph."
- Structure tags the Studio understands well: `[verse]`, `[chorus]`,
  `[bridge]`, `[tripping guitar solo]`.

## Understanding your certificate

Your track's fingerprint is a SHA-256 hash of the audio itself, written
into the file's own tags at creation. To verify: drop the file at
https://verify.haawke.com/tags.html — it reads the fingerprint out of the
file in your browser and checks it against the public registry. No
software, one step. Retitling or re-tagging the file does not change the
fingerprint; only altering the audio does.

## Etiquette for gift songs

- Generate first, listen twice, *then* send. You only get one first
  impression.
- Send the letter link, not the bare file — the letter carries the
certificate, and the certificate is half the gift.
- The registry entry is public by design: it's the proof that theirs is
  the only one.
