Terms of Service
Haawke Neural Technology · Squeek Studio · Effective July 19, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Squeek Studio and related services operated by Haawke Neural Technology (“Haawke,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or generating a work through the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service does
Squeek generates original musical works from a brief you supply. Each work is produced using machine learning systems under human direction, fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash of its audio, timestamped, and recorded in a public registry. Works are generated individually; we do not resell, relicense, or regenerate your work for another customer.
3. Ownership of your work
The work is yours. On delivery, you receive full ownership of the specific audio work generated for you, including the right to use it commercially, distribute it, monetize it, and register it with platforms and rights organizations. Haawke retains no publishing interest, no royalty claim, and no license-back in your work.
We retain ownership of the service itself — the pipeline, models, prompts, presets, tooling, registry, and all underlying software and methods. Ownership of a work does not convey any right to the system that produced it.
You are responsible for the content of your brief. Do not submit material you lack the rights to, and do not ask us to imitate a living artist's voice or likeness. See section 6.
4. Provenance, and what we keep behind glass
Every released work carries a cryptographic fingerprint that is published openly and can be verified by anyone. The methods that produce those works are not published, and this is deliberate.
The Vatican has the Pietà behind glass. Our logo is a neural hawk in a reliquary. We keep our secret sauce in a Bitcoin-anchored reliquary with a public verify URL. The hash is the altar rail — you can get that close, no further.
In practical terms: we publish the fingerprint, not the contents. A hash proves a document or a recording exists, is unaltered, and existed at a given time — without disclosing what it says or how it was made. Anyone may verify. No one is granted access to the underlying material by virtue of that verification. Our internal prompts, model configurations, private working documents, and generation methods are trade secrets, and publishing their hashes does not place them in the public domain, waive their confidentiality, or grant any license to them.
5. Plans, payment, and quotas
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled, and generation quotas reset each billing period. Free-tier quotas are lifetime rather than recurring. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and does not revoke ownership of works already delivered to you. Because each work is generated to order and delivered immediately, generated works are non-refundable except where required by law or where the service failed to deliver.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- clone or imitate the voice or likeness of a real person without their documented consent;
- produce material depicting a real, identifiable person in a sexual, defamatory, or harassing manner;
- infringe copyright, including by submitting lyrics or compositions you do not have the rights to;
- produce content sexualizing minors, promoting violence against people, or facilitating illegal activity;
- misrepresent a generated work as having been made without machine assistance where that representation is material.
We may refuse or remove any generation at our discretion, and may suspend accounts that breach this section.
7. Machine generation and human authorization
Works produced here are machine-generated under human direction. We state this openly and expect you to do the same where it matters. Consistent with our Code of Conduct, no automated system at Haawke holds final authority over a release; a named person authorizes what ships, and the design of the system is itself a human decision made in advance.
Copyright status of machine-generated material varies by jurisdiction and is unsettled in several. We convey to you every right we hold, and we make no representation that any particular jurisdiction will recognise copyright in a machine-generated work.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is.” Generation is stochastic; we do not warrant that any particular output will meet your expectations, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted by the effective date above, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: craig@haawke.com.
